Terms of Service

Effective date: June 20, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service apply when you access SSLVision, purchase an SSL certificate, request managed SSL services, or communicate with us about an order. By using SSLVision, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services we provide

SSLVision provides managed SSL certificate ordering support and optional SSL-related setup services. Depending on the order, services may include certificate selection guidance, order coordination, CSR guidance, domain validation assistance, and optional installation assistance.

SSL certificates are issued by third-party Certificate Authorities and supplied through third-party reseller or wholesale platforms. SSLVision is not a Certificate Authority.

3. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information, domain names, organization details, CSR details, DNS access, hosting access, and any other information needed to complete the certificate order or installation.

You represent that you are authorized to request certificates for the domains and organizations submitted through SSLVision.

4. Domain and organization validation

SSL certificate issuance may require domain control validation, email approval, DNS records, HTTP file validation, organization documentation, or other checks required by the Certificate Authority. SSLVision can assist with the process, but approval and issuance are controlled by the Certificate Authority.

5. Pricing, taxes, and payment

Prices are displayed at checkout. Applicable taxes may be calculated and added during checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we may use in the future. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Orders are not considered accepted until payment is completed and the order is reviewed by SSLVision.

6. Installation service

If you purchase installation assistance, you agree to provide the access or technical details needed to complete the installation. Installation timelines may depend on your hosting provider, DNS provider, server access, platform limitations, and responsiveness.

7. Renewals and expiration

SSL certificates expire. Unless a separate renewal management service is purchased and confirmed in writing, you are responsible for monitoring expiration dates and purchasing renewals before expiration.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use SSLVision to obtain certificates for phishing, fraud, malware, impersonation, unlawful activity, or domains you do not control. We may refuse, cancel, or report suspicious orders.

9. Third-party services

SSLVision may depend on third-party services including Certificate Authorities, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, Namecheap, Microsoft 365, DNS providers, hosting providers, and related platforms. We are not responsible for downtime, delays, rejections, or policy decisions by third-party providers.

10. No guarantee of issuance or compatibility

We work to complete orders accurately, but we do not guarantee that a Certificate Authority will approve an order, that a domain owner will complete validation, or that every hosting platform will support every certificate type or installation method.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSLVision is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, loss of data, downtime, search ranking impact, or loss of goodwill.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
