SSL Validation Disclaimer

Effective date: June 20, 2026

1. SSL certificate issuance is not instant in every case

Some Domain Validation certificates can be issued quickly, but many SSL orders require customer action before issuance. OV, EV, wildcard, multi-domain, and business-validated certificates may take longer.

2. Validation may require action from you

Certificate Authorities may require one or more of the following:

3. SSLVision can assist, but cannot bypass CA rules

SSLVision can help explain and coordinate the process, but Certificate Authorities control validation requirements, approval decisions, issuance timing, and rejection decisions.

4. Domain authorization

You must be authorized to request SSL certificates for every domain or subdomain submitted. Orders for domains you do not own or control may be rejected, cancelled, or reported.

5. Compatibility and installation

SSL installation depends on your hosting platform, control panel, server software, DNS setup, and access level. Some providers restrict third-party certificates or require their own SSL workflow.

6. Delays outside SSLVision control

Delays may be caused by DNS propagation, missing access, incorrect CSR details, domain lockouts, CA manual review, email approval delays, hosting provider limitations, or inaccurate customer information.

7. Renewals and revalidation

SSL certificates must be renewed before expiration. Renewals may require revalidation. Multi-year coverage may still require reissue or revalidation during the coverage period depending on industry rules and Certificate Authority requirements.

8. Security responsibility

An SSL certificate helps encrypt browser-to-server traffic, but it does not by itself secure a hacked website, remove malware, patch software, configure firewalls, harden servers, or guarantee search ranking, trust, or compliance.
